Your Success Depends on Your Desire

Are you working to be successful at something that is really important to you? Or is it important to someone else? Too many people are walking around today trying to fulfill someone else’s dream – a parent who just knew their child would become a doctor; an engineer who chose the field because she was able to get a scholarship due to her math scores; a lawyer whose wife revels in his partner status.
It is hard to be really successful when the vision is not your own. Demanding jobs require a performance level that maximizes not only your skills and talent but your unwavering resolution and commitment. It’s hard to do that when the resolution is someone else’s.
- If you want unparalleled and sustainable success, determine what it is that you can eagerly give your mind, heart, and energy to regardless of what others think you should do.
- Be resolved to succeed in this area
